Bohot Coaches Change Ho Rahe The, Kuch Samajh Nahi Aa Raha Tha: Harmanpreet Hails Mazudar's Role In WC Triumph

Harmanpreet Kaur hailed head coach Amol Mazumar and gave an honest reflection of India's journey to the Women's World Cup title after creating history and becoming the first Indian captain to win a global title post the team's victory over South Africa on Sunday (November 2) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The Indian captain stated that the team were facing difficulties before Mazumar's arrival due to the constant changes in the coaching staff. Harmanpreet stated that Mazumar provided stability to her side and also worked hard to ensure the team improves. "Sir's contribution in the last two years was amazing. A lot of things changed in our dressing room after his arrival. Before that, the coach was constantly changing.. We didn't know how to bring things forward. But after the sir's arrival, everything became stable. Everything started moving smoothly. I think he is very proud that he made this team. He made us practice day and night. We repeated the things that we had to improve in training. I think his contribution has been great for the entire team. I'm really happy that we got the opportunity to work with him," said Harmanpreet in the post-match press conference.
