Matthew Sharnoff and Johnny Williams were appointed as co-heads of global technology investment banking, and Daniel Kelly and Joseph Valenti as co-heads of global media and telecom investment banking. Sign up here. Sharnoff, who has been with the bank for over 25 years, was most recently the head of global financial technology investment banking. Williams, who has about 30 years of experience in technology investment banking, has been with BofA for about two decades, with his previous experiences including vice chairman at UBS. Kelly and Valenti have experience of leading a team together in their most recent roles as co-heads of Americas media and telecom investment banking. Both are veterans of TMT investments, with Kelly spending his entire career at BofA, while Valenti joined the firm in 2022. All of them will be members of the global investment banking management team and report to Faiz Ahmad and Mike Joo, co-heads of global investment banking. Bank of America has benefited from a rebound in dealmaking as it beat Wall Street estimates for third-quarter profit earlier in the month.
