The wait is finally over! The most awaited series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, premiered today, September 18, on Netflix. The series has been generating quite a buzz for months, and anticipation reached a fever pitch with a glitzy, star-studded screening. A day before its grand release, the makers hosted a grand screening in Mumbai that was filled with glamour.
Hosted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), the premiere had a jaw-dropping guest list of Bollywood and the industry’s Who’s Who. Bobby Deol, one of the leads in the series, attended the event with his wife, Tanya Deol, and older son, Aryaman Deol.
Bobby Deol’s family stepped out in style
Bobby looked like a suave star in a velvet black suit and a crisp white shirt, while Tanya slipped into a stylish black dress with a thigh-high slit. The 24-year-old, who usually stays away from the limelight, made heads turn in a perfectly tailored blue suit.

Karan Johar turned heads at the grand premiere in a metallic silver suit, and Farah Khan shimmered in a shiny sequin blazer, while Guneet Monga opted for a classic black ensemble, and Vijay Varma kept it casual in a cool jacket-and-T-shirt look with smart glasses. Other big names spotted at the event included Zoya Akhtar, Raj & DK, Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar, Raja Kumari and Khushi Kapoor, who arrived in support of her close friend Aryan.

Made under the direction of Aryan Khan, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood is described as a fast-paced, edgy and self-aware drama set in the chaotic world of Bollywood. The film explores the gritty side of chasing fame and ambition through an ambitious outsider and his friends as they navigate the world of Bollywood.
With its stylised visuals, sharp humour and an underdog narrative, the series asks, ‘How far will you go to achieve your dreams? What will it cost you, and can you survive a few Bollywood baddies along the way?’
The series boasts an ensemble cast of talented actors, including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor and Rajat Bedi. The Ba***ds of Bollywood also promise surprise appearances by Bollywood heavyweights Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar.
