TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts rain showers in most of Greater Jakarta this morning until afternoon, Saturday, September 20, 2025. The air temperature in this metropolitan area is around 24-32 degrees Celsius, except in Bogor, which ranges from 20-28 degrees Celsius.Referring to BMKG’s weather forecast published on late Friday, cloudy skies cover the entirety of Greater Jakarta in the early hours. As dawn breaks, several areas in the Seribu Islands and the Bekasi Regency begin to drizzle.From 7:00 a.m. local time until midday, the rain is likely to persist in the Seribu Islands. The North, West, South, and Central Jakarta areas are also experiencing light rain. The same goes for Tangerang Regency and City, as well as South Tangerang City. During the same period, Bekasi Regency experiences light to moderate rain. Other areas are covered with thick clouds.From noon until 7:00 p.m., light rain continues to dampen South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Tangerang. The intensity of the rain potentially becomes moderate in parts of South Tangerang City, all of Bogor and Bekasi, as well as Depok City.BMKG predicts that the air humidity in Greater Jakarta throughout the day ranges from 60-95 percent.
