The squad features a blend of seasoned internationals and emerging stars who have impressed at club level.

Otto Addo has retained faith in his trusted regulars while also injecting fresh blood to boost Ghana’s chances in the back-to-back fixtures.

Ghana will travel to the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on October 8 to face the Central African Republic before returning to the Accra Sports Stadium to host Comoros four days later.

These games could prove decisive in shaping the Black Stars’ World Cup journey.

Among the notable inclusions are regular suspects like captain Jordan Ayew, former Arsenal star Thomas Partey, and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Mohammed Kudus.

The technical team also drafted Kojo Peprah Oppong, who has been making waves at OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1, into the list.

The youngster has featured in eight matches across competitions this season and earned plaudits for his consistency.

Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also makes his return after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him since November.

His performances in the English Championship have been crucial for the Foxes.

Alidu Seidu is another familiar face back in the squad following a lengthy knee injury layoff.

His recovery brings defensive solidity to the team. Medeama SC midfielder Prince Owusu, enjoying an impressive start to the Ghana Premier League, has been rewarded with his first call-up to the senior national team.

However, there was no place for Salis Abdul Samed, who was not named in the latest Black Stars squad for the final World Cup qualifiers this month.
