A forgotten horror series set in the Big Brother house from the creator of Black Mirror has been branded as "outstanding" by viewers- and it has a top Rotten Tomatoes rating. The real-life reality show Big Brother is currently unfolding on our screens in its 25th anniversary season, and a group of strangers are navigating life inside the iconic house all in the hopes of winning a huge cash prize. The highly-anticipated show has become a popular choice amongst fans , becoming a pivotal watch during the autumn. But there is one horror mini-series based on the reality TV show that some may have forgotten about. Dead Set spans across five episodes and is a 2008 British zombie horror mini-series that was released on E4. As an apocalypse breaks out, cast and crew in the Big Brother house are initially unaware, until it becomes about survival - with no escape from the Big Brother house. A synopsis teases: "During eviction night at the Big Brother house, a zombie outbreak occurs and takes over the United Kingdom. Will the housemates survive?" Starring Davina McCall , the original host of Big Brother, as well as Jaime Winstone, Charlie Brooker and Andy Nyman, the series is available to stream for free now on Tubi. Created by Charlie Brooker, who is known for his work on Netflix's Black Mirror, the series is a little-known gem amongst horror fans. With a near perfect rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, the praise has poured in from fans. One person wrote: "How has this not won anything...truly shows how British shows can be if done right." Another said: "Charlie Brooker's seminal horror serial is an outstanding experience for horror fans and those who are familiar with the UK's version of Big Brother .
