Birmingham’s ‘biggest fireworks display’ has been announced – but the date is earlier than you might be expecting. This year’s Bonfire Night event is actually happening in October, and is even before Halloween . Taking place at Lea Marston Eboot Site in Sutton Coldfield , organisers are promising a ‘gigantic’ funfair and ‘massive’ fireworks display plus strobes and lasers too. A spokesman said: ” Come along to the BIGGEST Guy Fawkes Firework display & Funfair in Birmingham for 2025 – an afternoon and evening packed full of entertainment” The gates will open at 4pm and there will be a ‘gigantic’ funfair from 4pm to 9.30pm. Kids can enjoy character meet-and-greets from 4pm to 7pm. Then, at 6.30pm, there will be a kids firework display that’s designed to be low-noise for sensitive ears. This will be followed by a laser, strobe and searchlight musical display at 7.30pm. Then, the main fireworks display takes place at 8.30pm. Organisers are describing it as ‘massive’ spanning over 100 metres wide and set to a ‘medley of music’. The gates will close at 9.30pm. Tickets to the Lea Marston Fireworks Display cost £12 for adults and £8 for children or you can get a family ticket for £35 (plus booking fees). Children aged 0 to 2 go free.
