Sandiip Sikcand has criticised Amaal Mallik for his behaviour on Bigg Boss 19 and called him a “dictator.” The controversy came after a prank on the reality show in which the musician, along with Shehbaz Badesha, hid essential items from the housemates, which caused chaos in the house. Sikcand bashed Mallik’s involvement, saying that such actions were unfair to other contestants and not appropriate. He pointed out that being a captain or leader on the show comes with responsibility and taking part in tricks that disappoint others is not acceptable.
In a recent episode, Shehbaz told Amaal that they should hide other housemates’ belongings for fun. The singer agreed and the two went ahead with the plan by hiding clothes and essential food items under sofas and beds while the other contestants were asleep. When everyone woke up and discovered that important items like sugar and salt were missing, this caused frustration.
Bigg Boss 19: Sandiip Sikcand Claims ‘This Isn’t Captaincy’
Taking to Instagram stories, Sandiip Sikcand wrote, “This is not captaincy. If you can rule the house, you must have the courage to say that you are a part of a stupid prank. Be a man, Mr Dictator. And yes, thinking of hiding personal things and food & presuming that it’s gonna be fun – is truly ridiculous and the most stupid thing to do. These silly duplicates, I tell you.”

Housemates Frustrated After Discovering Missing Items
After noticing that things were missing, the housemates initially blamed Bigg Boss for the situation. During an announcement, Bigg Boss clarified that he was not responsible, which led contestants to speculate who might have hidden the belongings.
As things escalated, Shehbaz admitted to Neelam that he was involved in the prank and she later told the other housemates that Shehbaz was behind it.
However, Amaal Mallik did not come forward about his role immediately when Shehbaaz was getting criticised by other contestants. Many viewers, along with producer Sandiip Sikcand, were disappointed with Mallik’s participation in the prank, which created unnecessary conflict in the house.
