Warsi, who hosted the very first season of the iconic reality show in 2006, is set to bring his charm and candid hosting style back to the show! Salman Khan, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Battle Of Galwan’ in Ladakh, will be unavailable to host for the reality show during the upcoming weekend. While contestants will miss the superstar’s signature style and fiery presence, Arshad Warsi will instead keep the entertainment intact meanwhile.
Arshad Warsi Returns to Bigg Boss After 18 Years
Arshad Warsi’s return marks a full-circle moment for the show and its audiences, evoking fond memories of Bigg Boss’ beginnings while adding a fresh twist to the current season. Arshad is all set to shake things up inside the house and keep both contestants and viewers hooked. The Weekend Ka Vaar has always been one of the most anticipated segments for both viewers and contestants. This week, due to Salman Khan’s unavailability, Arshad Warsi along with Akshay Kumar will reportedly step in to take charge of Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar, promising audiences a fresh dose of entertainment and drama.
For the unversed, Arshad Warsi hosted the first season of Bigg Boss, which aired on television from November 2006 to January 2007. Rahul Roy emerged as the winner during the first season, while other housemates included Rakhi Sawant, Ravi Kishan, Carol Gracias, Rupali Ganguly, Amit Sadh, Kashmera Shah and others.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan recently shared the first picture from the sets of his next project ‘Battle Of Galwan’ in Ladakh. The Bollywood superstar portrays Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu in this film based on the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan valley. Salman jetted off for the shoot a few days ago, and as per reports, the team will film climax sequences in Leh and Ladakh over the next 2-3 weeks.
