Big Brother star says 'I think she's in love' as Elsa grows closer to Marcus

Love appears to be blossoming in the Big Brother house with 15 contestants currently getting acquainted as part of ITV’s social experiment.

During Wednesday’s episode (1 October), Elsa and Marcus share a laugh over breakfast, leading Marcus to comment: “She just looks at me and laughs.”

Caroline chimes in with: “I think she’s in love.”

Marcus playfully responds: “I know, I don’t blame her” before inviting Elsa for a hug, prompting Caroline to predict: “The romance is coming.”

Later that evening, Elsa and Marcus are spotted chatting in bed, a development other housemates have noticed. Caroline observes: “They’ve fallen in love.”, reports the Daily Record. Will this budding romance continue to bloom?

Elsa previously dated content creator, influencer manager and boxer Ed Matthews for around four years, often appearing on each other’s social media. At the end of their relationship, Ed disclosed that they parted ways because there was no point in ‘wasting years’ if they didn’t envision a future marriage.

In another twist, Caroline reveals to George her friendship with a controversial political figure. “I’m quite good friends with Nigel Farage,” she discloses, causing Teja to interject: “You know Nigel Farage in real life?”.

Caroline confirms: “Yes.” When asked by Teja: “And you actually like Nigel Farage?” She responds: “As a person, yes.”

George then asks: “Why, do you not?”. Teja concludes: “He is a proper character, yes but what about his politics?”.

She then settles down for a chat about the current political landscape with George. Will the pair manage to discover some shared views?

Meanwhile in the forthcoming instalment, Cameron B, Feyisola, George and Richard find themselves conflicted between two contestants but eventually reach a verdict on who they’ll present with a dreaded ‘evil eye’.

Positioned in front of their fellow contestants in the lounge, Big Brother announces: “Feyisola. you must now hand the evil eye to the Housemate you want to face eviction.”

Feyisola passes the evil eye to her selected housemate, leaving the remaining contestants utterly stunned.

Big Brother then declares: “You must now give your reasons for your decision.”

Feyisola glances towards Cameron B, George and Richard before responding, “I can’t talk, sorry.”

She subsequently exits the sitting room and makes her way to the bedroom, but who have the recent arrivals chosen for their second evil eye?

and who will confront the public vote this Friday alongside Zelah?

The competition is evolving, this series viewers will Vote to Save.

Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
