Fans of Big Brother have told ITV they need to 'add a rule' after the latest nomination twist was unveiled in the most recent episode,. Some even claimed they would 'cancel' the show and admitted they found themselves shouting at their screens. This followed scenes from Monday's episode (October 27). In a fresh twist for this series, housemates have been given a unique currency in the form of eyeballs, which they can collect and exchange for various items. These treats range from food and drinks to other exclusive items. In the past, housemates have been offered party coupons and tokens that forced one person to make their nominations face to face. Big Brother invited contestants into the eye market to make their latest selections. During this time, they were tempted with a phone call from home as well as a token that allowed them to 'Save and Replace'. This was a feature that was used more than once in the last series. Long-time viewers will recall that housemates can use this to save one person from facing the public vote, and replace them with someone else, putting them in danger of eviction, reports OK! Housemates were instructed to bid on their token, with the highest bidder winning the item. It was revealed that Caroline was the highest bidder with 21 eyes. Viewers were instantly worried the moment they witnessed Caroline place her bid, with her ending up as the sole bidder. Richard accurately forecast she would do so, yet declined to submit a competing offer himself. Fans were swift to respond to the unfolding drama. One took to social media, writing: "Caroline is wasting so much energy hating on Richard... you're a grown woman ffs! ! Leave him alone." Another chimed in: "Anyone else currently screaming at the TV for Richard to outbid Caroline and win the save and replace token?" A third responded: "If Caroline gets that save and replace then we need to cancel this show I'm so serious." Someone else remarked: "Big Brother, you NEED to add the rule that Caroline can't save and replace herself. Three weeks safe is MADNESS." One person forecasted: "Carol will save and replace herself with Richard (assuming she's up this week) but in the end Richard will have the last laugh." Meanwhile, during a chat about the recent episode on the Big Brother UK subreddit, one user proposed: "Caroline's hatred of Richard needs to be studied." Later during the programme, Jenny was shown taking a telephone call from home. Her mum had a word with her and cautioned that she ought to be wary of two fellow housemates, particularly Caroline and Nancy. Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
