Viewers of reality series Big Brother were left fuming after the latest nomination twist introduced during the latest episode. So much so that they even threatened to 'cancel' the ITV show and even admitted that they were left screaming at their screens. It comes following scenes during Monday's episode (October 27). New for this current series, the housemates have been given a unique currency that they can collect and spend on certain items. These are in the form of eyeballs. They can be used to exchange for a range of treats including food, drinks and other unique items. Previously, they have been offered coupons for parties and tokens that forced one person to make their nominations face to face. Big Brother invited contestants into the eye market to make their latest selections. During this time they were tempted with a phone call from home as well as a token that allowed them to 'Save and Replace'. This was something that was utilised more than once last series. Dedicated viewers will remember that housemates can use this to prevent one person from facing the public vote. Not only that but they can replace them with someone else, putting them at risk of eviction. Housemates were told to make a bid on their token, with the highest winning the item. It was revealed that the highest bidder was Caroline with 21 eyes. Viewers were immediately concerned once they saw Caroline bid and she ended up being the only person who did so. Richard correctly predicted she would, but refused to make a rival offer himself. Fans were quick to react to the latest developments. One posted on social media, saying: "Caroline is wasting so much energy hating on Richard… you’re a grown woman ffs!! Leave him alone." Another added: "Anyone else currently screaming at the TV for Richard to outbid Caroline and win the save and replace token?" A third replied: "If Caroline gets that save and replace then we need to cancel this show I’m so serious." Someone else commented: "Big Brother, you NEED to add the rule that Caroline can't save and replace herself. Three weeks safe is MADNESS." One person predicted: "Carol will save and replace herself with Richard (assuming she's up this week) but in the end Richard will have the last laugh." Meanwhile, in a discussion about the latest instalment on the Big Brother UK subreddit, one user suggested: "Caroline's hatred of Richard needs to be studied." Later in the episode, Jenny was seen receiving a phone call from home. Her mum spoke to her and warned that she should watch out for two of her fellow housemates, mainly Caroline and Nancy.
