ITV has at last unveiled the Big Brother 2025 lineup following weeks of eager speculation.
Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best ushered 12 fresh personalities into the famous residence on Sunday (September 28) evening, with audiences preparing to track the new reality participants over the coming seven weeks.
Now in its third run on ITV, the social experiment chronicles a group of ordinary individuals as they manage cohabiting with complete strangers.
Cut off from the external world, the fresh housemates confront everything from team-building tasks to public eliminations side by side, reports the Daily Record.
But who are the twelve strangers entering the experiment this year?
Below, we explore the Big Brother 2025 line-up.

The Essex girl is also known for previously dating fellow social media personality and boxer Ed Matthews.
In true influencer fashion, Elsa found applied for the reality show after seeing an advert on social media.
She said: “I saw an advertisement to apply on TikTok, and I thought, ‘okay, I’m just going to apply. Like, I’m just going to do it’. I feel like you’re only 21 once. And why not!”

Occupation: PR
This year’s cast is notably younger, with 56-year-old Caroline as one of only two housemates who are not in their twenties.
Caroline applied for the show after struggling to know the next step to take in her career. If she claims the coveted Big Brother crown, the PR professional says she would splurge the prize pot on new patio doors.

Occupation: Make-up Artist
Keen to bring “plenty of craic” to the house, 20-year-old Jenny hails from Derry. She is hoping her bubbly personality will be enough to buy her a seat in the final.
Speaking before entering the house, she said: “I do have a strategy to make it to the final. My strategy is to just be myself. There’s nothing you can do, if the public wants you to win, you’ll win if you’re being yourself.
From: Glasgow
Occupation: Graduate
Gaming enthusiast Nancy was born in Rome but hails from Glasgow.
Ahead of entering the reality show, she vowed to bring some Italian spice into the Big Brother house.
The 22-year-old is one of two Scottish contestants on this year’s cast. She describes herself as “very energetic” and claims housemates “will never get bored” of her.
From: Manchester
Occupation: Mechanical engineer
Marcus is one of the youngest housemates at just 22 years old and he is keen to bring “a lot of energy, and a lot of playfulness” to the iconic house.
He has his eye on the Big Brother crown and had been advised to “play the game” ahead of entering the competition. If his strategy wins him the crown, Marcus will take a trip to Australia.
From: London
Occupation: Pizza Shop Manager
The second oldest cast member is Gani, a pizza shop manager from Bromley.
The newfound reality star is not shy about his intentions to find fame after the show.
He said: “I’d like to be known by millions. I see this as an opportunity not only for my personal growth, but also to help build the future of my personal brand.”
From: Bristol
Occupation: Cleaner
This year’s youngest contestant is Teja, who joins the show at just 18 years old. If she makes it to the finish line, the teenager would use the cash prize to buy her own house. Before starting the show, Teja has made it clear she won’t shy away from conflict.
She said: “I think I’m alright to live with, but I can be a bit loud. I do also say what’s on my mind. If I have a problem I will say. Some people might take that the wrong way and see it as me being rude. But I do like to just get things off my chest; people might not like the directness of it.”
From: Somerset
Occupation: Farmer
Old soul Cameron is hoping to win over the other housemates with his charm.
He hails from Somerset and applied for the competition in search for a new experience, and hopes to make genuine connections in the house.
Cameron is also convinced he’ll be a unique housemate.
“I suspect there isn’t another sort of country bumpkin-esque figure and I’m quite looking forward to meeting new people. I think I’ll hopefully bring a bit of leadership to the house,” he said.
From: Bradford
Occupation: Zumba instructor
Sam is hoping to bring some energy into the house with daily workout classes.
The housemate also wants to build new connections. “I’m looking forward to making new friends, hopefully learning some new life skills and seeing what things come out of this experience,” he said.
If he claims the crown, Sam would “go to Disneyland on holiday” then buy “a gorgeous apartment and a fluffy cat”.
From: Northampton
Occupation: Political events manager
Emily is hoping to use her looks as a strategy. She said: “I haven’t really thought about a strategy, although I do think people look at me and think I’m very ditzy because I’ve got blonde hair and fake nails.
“So, I think that could definitely play to my advantage, because they better watch out! I’m actually a lot cleverer.”
From: Falkirk
Occupation: Business owner
Tate is the second Scottish contestant entering the show and he has always aspired to join the reality show.
When asked why he applied, he explained: “It was always a bucket list experience. I’ve always wanted to do something like this and I thought it would be a fun story to tell one day. Me being on the show might also potentially help with my business as well.”
From: Personal Trainer
Occupation: South London
Hailing from South London, Zelah is not afraid voice his opinions.
“I can be quite opinionated but I’d like to think that wouldn’t necessarily be a reason to nominate me. My strategy for those situations is to talk it out. I think also maybe food (or lack of) might be another reason for me being nominated. I can get very hangry. That might get to people.”
Big Brother is available to watch on ITVX.
