Bettendorf to hold first-ever public safety open house with police and fire departments

Bettendorf is hosting its first combined public safety open house with the city’s fire and police departments on Saturday.
The free, family-friendly event includes up-close views of police cars and firetrucks, a look inside both the fire and police stations, interactions with police officers and firefighters, and free donuts, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate, according to the city.
The event is 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 at the conjoined stations next to City Hall in downtown Bettendorf.
Free parking is available at City Hall, 1609 State St., or at the intersection of 15th Street and State Street.
