The Bethel Park Black Hawks (4-1) look to continue their offensive fireworks when they travel to Coraopolis for Friday night’s WPIAL Class 5A Allegheny Six Conference opener against the Moon Area Tigers (2-2).
The Black Hawks are coming off a 51-35 victory at Trinity in which senior running back David Dennison delivered one of the season’s most dominant individual performances, rushing for 317 yards and finding the end zone six times.
Moon Area enters conference play seeking to bounce back from a 31-23 home loss to Seneca Valley, a game that showcased the Tigers’ quarterback tandem of senior Andrew Cross and junior Max Harkins, who each threw touchdown passes in the defeat.
The Tigers dropped a 45-36 decision at Bethel Park in 2024.
Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, September 26 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
