Berks sports roundup for Sept. 28: Oley Valley beats Hamburg in boys soccer

All payments by families must be made with a credit card. We will send a proof of the completed obituary before we require payment. The obituary cannot run, however, until we receive payment in full.
Obituaries can be submitted for any future date, but they must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. the day prior to its running for it to be published.

Anders Muir had the other goal for the Lynx.

Oley Valley Evan Minner made one save and Hamburg goalie Jarrett Herman made 10.

Hunter Zerr scored two goals as Daniel Boone defeated Upper Merion 4-2 in a non-league soccer match on Saturday.
Euan Gest and Walker Hallman also scored for the Blazers, and Mason Stout had two assists and Luke Boyle one.
Daniel Boone goalie Cooper Robison made 6 saves.
Boyertown 5, Brandywine Heights 0
Paul Okolie scored three goals as Boyertown defeated Brandywine Heights 5-0 in a non-league boys soccer match on Saturday.
Also for the Bears, Carter Friend and Dylan Wool scored.
Brandywine goalie Tommy Moore made 12 saves.
Girls soccer
Brandywine Heights 5, Hamburg 2
Lauren Stoudt scored three goals and had an assist as Brandywine Heights defeated Hamburg 5-2 on Saturday in a girls soccer match.
Jordon Henninger and Julia Coblentz (1 assist) also scored for the Bullets. Goalie Lizze Tomaine made 8 saves.
For the Hawks, Madeline Wilkes and Raya Ruppert scored.
Eastern York 7, Muhlenberg 2
Adilyn Ramirez and Stephanie Morales each scored a goal and had an assist in Muhlenberg’s 7-2 non-league loss in girls soccer on Saturday.
