Prior to reading the article I knew nothing about either candidate. I thought it would help me make a more informed decision. I read through the article several times just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Both candidates have impressive resumes and experience. It sounds like either would make a great judge for Berks County. Based on what I learned about both of the candidates from reading the article one clear choice became glaringly obvious. I will be voting for Kathryn Lehman. Why? In the very first sentence in his response to the very first question, Eric Taylor made disparaging remarks about his opponent. Granted, this is very typical in politics, but people running for judge, a position of neutrality, should hold themselves to a higher standard. By not tearing down her opponent Lehmann clearly demonstrated that higher standard. Steve Cuzner Exeter Township
