Amid social media posts narrating rather questionable experiences in relation to Karnataka, THIS Bengaluru man’s wholesome story left the internet melted instead! The man was allegedly on his way to attend a Durga Puja event with his friends, for which he rented a scooter. However, before he could reach the venue, his scooter died due to almost no fuel. Quickly finding a solution, the man booked a Rapido so that he could drive to a nearby petrol pump and come back with some fuel in a bottle– only to later realise that carrying petrol in a bottle is not allowed. Amid the panic over what could be done, what happened next left the man impressed and grateful towards the Rapido driver. Allegedly, the Rapido driver decided to share some of his bike’s fuel with the man– without even asking. What was further wholesome was that the driver allegedly refused to take a single rupee in exchange for the fuel or the trouble itself. The post went viral soon after getting shared. Most loved the Rapido driver’s gestures, while some recalled their own wholesome experience in Bengaluru. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. I called in a rapido, explained my situation and said, let’s go to a petrol pump, but you don’t get petrol in a bottle there. And the traffic meant pushing the scooter to the petrol pump would be near impossibility! Then my rapido driver gave me petrol from his tank!! I didn’t even ask!! I was speaking hindi, he was accomodating and he later helped me get my scooter started and initially refused to take the money for the fuel even!” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘HiSohan’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 113K views from people.
