Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas today to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On the occasion, a Run for Unity was organized at M.G. Railway Colony, Bengaluru. Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to officers, staff, and students. Later, he led the Run for Unity, which commenced from the Railway Sports Ground, passed through M.G. Railway Colony, and culminated at the Railway Sports Ground. Additional Divisional Railway Managers Parikshit Mohanpuria and Praveen Kataraki, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Smt. Uma Sharma, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner (RPF) Dr. Shreyans Chinchawade, other railway officers and staff, students from PM Kendriya Vidyalaya and Shama Vidya Shala, and Scouts & Guides participated enthusiastically in the event, spreading the message of harmony and national integration.
