Days after a Canadian vlogger posted about Bengaluru roads and footpaths, Commissioner of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Rajendra Cholan captured a video with the Vlogger Caleb Friesten. The commission asked the Canadian man for his opinion on the authorities’ prompt action to clear the roads and improve infrastructure. A Canadian man released a video on social media as he walked 2.4 kilometres of Bengaluru footpaths, showing what he went through during his walk. From tunnel juice, barbed wires, to the corpse of a dog, he had a shocking experience. Cholan visited Freedom Park Multi-Level Parking, Anand Rao Circle, and the Majestic surrounding areas and sat along with the NGO members on the footpath and shared breakfast with them. This triggered people as they slammed the commissioner for sharing pictures with the Canadian man, as they pointed out the need for someone to point out the horrible roads in Bengaluru, and then the authorities take action to make it better. Other people called it a “publicity stunt”, while one of the users wrote, “So the expectation is to get a foreigner to come to each neighborhood and do a video? And only then will we get these basic things, is it?” Also read: ‘Dog’s Corpse & Filthy Drains’: Canadian Man’s Shocking Bengaluru Footpath Walk—WATCH His Experience Here’s what Canadian man posted This was triggered only after the Canadian man Caleb posted multiple videos on social media, showing the horrible conditions of Bengaluru roads and how dangerous the footpaths are. In the video, he called out the city’s poor infrastructure, while saying that his aim is not to criticise the city but to see clean roads and footpaths here. He further urged authorities to take strict and prompt action on the matter. Days later, on September 13, the authorities launched a clean drive on the same pedestrian pathway. The commissioner then called Caleb to check out the stretch where he shot the video. The Canadian man praised the efforts, saying, “This is incredible. It is amazing to see everybody sitting and eating in the same place where there was trash, urine and barbed wire. You couldn’t even walk in this place.” Get Latest News Live on Times Now along with Breaking News and Top Headlines from Bengaluru and around the world.
