Hallmark fan favorite Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe has shared a heartfelt update with fans, saying, “I am so sad,” as she announced she won’t be able to attend Christmas Con 2025 in New Jersey. The Signed, Sealed, Delivered star revealed that her ongoing breast cancer treatment will prevent her from traveling in December, though she promised she’ll be back for the 2026 convention. In a new Instagram video, Lowe told fans, “Hey guys, it is Crystal Lowe here. I unfortunately have to make an announcement. I will not be able to attend Christmas Con this year in New Jersey. I am so sad because now more than ever I want to meet all of you and talk to you about your favorite Christmas traditions and everything you’re doing, but at that time I will be getting an infusion and I won’t be able to get on a plane, unfortunately.” Oops! Christmas Con has been so generous and kind and has taken care of me so well that I will be at the 2026 Christmas Con in New Jersey and I can’t wait to see you then. The 44-year-old mother of two shared that she first noticed a large mass in her right breast in February 2025, initially thinking she had strained a muscle. After a series of tests and biopsies, she received the diagnosis and began chemotherapy. She also praised the Hallmark Channel for rallying behind her, writing, “Annie [Howell] and the entire Hallmark family embraced me fully, and told me that they had my back.” Later in October, Lowe documented another powerful moment in her journey — shaving her head as her treatment progressed. But doing this… this made me feel like I was in the driver’s seat. Sharing my head with you all…..scary but I really want anyone who’s going through this to see that I’m ok. And you will be too. Also, I still cried a lot. But after it all…felt so strong. Side note- surround yourself with people that tell you how beautiful you are bald. That is the assignment.
