Bella Hadid is setting the record straight after fans expressed their concerns for her well-being following her performance in the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Earlier this month, a TikTok user shared a video in which she asked, “Bella Hadid, what the f–k wrong with you? What we gotta do?” The caption claimed that Hadid, 29, “look like she was finna cry the whole show.” The social media user was referring to Hadid’s appearance in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15, where she seemed unsteady on her feet and repeatedly looked down at the runway. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 Hadid commented on the TikTok video to share the relatable reason why she struggled during the event. “Girl I got my period that morning and my stamina is not up yet after the whole hospital sitch but I tried my best and I LOVEEEE you for this,” she replied to the fan. “I’m OK I swear,” she insisted. “I’m sorry if I let [you] down. Love you I mean it!!” Hadid first blamed her issues on her elaborate runway ensembles, one of which featured massive white wings as an accessory. “OK we’re not going to pretend these wings weren’t 50 pounds but how beautiful,” she noted via her Instagram Story earlier this month. “Heavy or not … your girl will always keep walkin’ the walk.” Hadid’s appearance in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show came just one month after she was hospitalized due to complications of Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with in 2013. “I’m sorry I always go MIA I love you guys,” she wrote via Instagram in September alongside photos of herself hooked up to an IV in a hospital bed. Bella’s mother, Yolanda Hadid — who also has Lyme disease — subsequently opened up about her daughter’s setback on social media. “As you will understand, watching my Bella struggle in silence has cut the deepest core of hopelessness inside me,” she wrote via Instagram in September. “The invisible disability of chronic neurological Lyme disease is hard to explain or understand for anyone. I try to lead by example on our Lyme journey but my own pain cannot compare to watching my baby suffer.”
