The excitement and drama on the golf course at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale New York will keep millions of people riveted – and it will also mark a climax to months of precision planning behind the scenes. The company played a key role in delivering a smarter, more efficient, more sustainable Ryder Cup including transporting 25 containers carrying around 10,000 essential goods to Rome. Shipments included electrical and solar power supplies from Ryder Cup energy partner Aggreko that helped power the tournament and beamed it to some 1bn fans, plus other supplies including event signage and mobility scooters. And DP World is thinking about the future too – as it is already planning its support of the delivery of the Ryder Cup in 2027 in Ireland, , leveraging its European logistics capabilities and long-term commitment to the partnership.
