Bees Invade Suhum Circuit Court

Bees have invaded the Circuit Court in Suhum in the Eastern Region, according to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

Personnel of the GNFS responded to the situation on Friday afternoon.

A statement by the Eastern regional GNFS reported that, “The Suhum Municipal Fire Station swiftly contained a bee invasion at the Circuit Court after receiving an emergency call at 1305hrs.”

Led by ASTNO Duodu Michael, with an eleven-member team, arrived at the scene at 1348hrs.

A foam concentrate was used by the eleven-member team to eliminate the swarm before declaring the space safe for business to carry on.

“The operation began at 1358hrs, and was brought under control by 1436hrs; the premises were declared safe by 1500hrs.”

The Court management commended the firefighters for their prompt and professional response.
