Beauty lovers are raving over ‘wrinkle expert’ cream which claims to make ‘lines less obvious’ – and it costs just £5

BEAUTY fans are raving over a “wrinkle expert” cream which claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines for under £5.

The L’Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert day cream has racked up thousands of five-star reviews from satisfied customers.

And the best part is it only costs £4.98 from Amazon and won’t break the bank.

According to the listing, the anti-wrinkle day cream is “enriched with collagen”, which helps to “visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles.”

The description states it creates “younger looking skin at every age” and it “reduces first signs of aging.”

The L’Oréal cream can be used daily on the face and neck and is said to have a “silky texture.”

Simply smooth the cream over your skin and then massage it in.

It can be used as a base for make-up as it claims that it can be “quickly absorbed.”

L’Oréal says the cream is aimed at those aged 35 and above, and it can help tackle “fine lines, elasticity loss and dryness.”

Over 3,600 people have reviewed the cream on Amazon with the majority leaving a five-star rating on the listing.

One person gushed: “It feels lovely to apply and really sinks in well – no greasy face afterwards.”

A second added: “Just love this cream it is : smooth, easy to apply and gives my skin a youthful appearance. Highly recommended.”

Meanwhile, a third said: “I got this for a friend who was starting to show some wrinkles and within days of applying this cream to her face and neck, she’s saying the wrinkles are looking less obvious.”

OTHER ANTI-AGEING METHODS

While you certainly don’t need to do anything to your appearance as you get older, some people turn to Botox, fillers and surgery to slow the signs of ageing.

These kinds of procedures can be expensive and you might not relish the prospect of going under the knife for the sake of youth.

A dermatologist recently shared how getting filler injected into specific parts of your face – including your smile lines – could put you at risk of vascular occlusion and blindness.

Just like your body, your face can benefit from a little bit of light exercise.

“We obviously use our faces every day when smiling, chatting and growing but face yoga adopts intent behind the exercises, much like when you work out other areas of the body at the gym,” Dr Asiya Maula, Director and GP at The Health Suite, explained.

Isolating muscles in your face can help tone it and tighten your skin while also keeping plump, which the GP said can help maintain a youthful appearance long term.

It’ll also stimulate blood flow to your face, which can encourage collagen production – this is a protein that supports your skin.

Dr Maula’s second tip is very simple.

She recommends you make sure to spend time outside, which many of us forget to as we caught up in the daily grind of work.

Exposure to sunlight is a natural source of vitamin D, which is essential for maintaining healthy bones, teeth, and muscles, the GP said.

Vitamin D also plays a role in regulating the immune system and reducing inflammation, which can help slow down the ageing process.
