Bears vs. Ravens: Wednesday injury report released

The Chicago Bears will be trying for a fifth straight win when they face the Baltimore Ravens, but they’ll need to get healthier in a hurry. The Bears had five players that missed Wednesday’s workout at Halas Hall, including running back D’Andre Swift, who has been hampered in recent weeks by a groin injury, and wide receiver DJ Moore, who is dealing with a hip issue for the second straight week. Both players were on the field for the Bears when they beat the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but they’ll be worth watching as the week progresses. Tight end Cole Kmet, who left Sunday’s game with a back injury, missed Wednesday’s practice due to the ailment. Running back Roschon Johnson, who had one carry for 11 yards in Sunday’s game, was also out of practice as he deals with a back ailment. Defensive back Tyrique Stevenson also wasn’t on the practice field due to a shoulder injury, the Bears said. Both defensive lineman Austin Booker and linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, who are on injured reserve, practiced in full Wednesday, potentially paving the way for them to be activated to the team’s roster this weekend. Defensive lineman Grady Jarrett, who has missed the team’s last three games with a knee injury, was a limited participant in Wednesday’s workout, as was kicker Cairo Santos, who has missed the last two games with a thigh injury. Defensive back Nahshon Wright (hip) and offensive lineman Braxton Jones (knee) were also limited. Meanwhile, the Ravens got some good news, as quarterback Lamar Jackson was back on the practice field, albeit in limited fashion, as he continues to rehab a hamstring injury. Jackson hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 28, but he could be poised to return for a Ravens squad that finds itself with a 1-5 record and in serious danger of missing the postseason if they don’t turn things around quickly. The only player to miss Wednesday’s practice was cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who is dealing with an illness. Cornerback Chidobe Awuzie and wide receiver Zay Flowers were both full participants, as was offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley and linebacker Roquan Smith. Safety Kyle Hamilton was limited with a groin injury. The Bears will travel to Baltimore this weekend to take on the Ravens as they aim for a fifth straight win. Kickoff is set for noon on Sunday, with the game airing on Fox.
