BBC The Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns shares 'difficult' announcement

Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns has been forced to delay her forthcoming UK tour due to mental health issues that emerged following an "intense period" in the run-up to the planned shows. The singer, who has won over audiences as a firm favourite on The Celebrity Traitors, revealed she had no choice but to postpone her tour, acknowledging it was a tough call but absolutely necessary. Speaking on social media, she explained that whilst the "album and tour mean the world to me", touring is "incredibly demanding mentally and physically", meaning she had to prioritise her "wellbeing", reports the Mirror . In a message posted on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: "Hi! This album and tour mean the world to me. It's been a massive journey getting ready to share How To Be Human with you. "I can't believe it's nearly here! ! But unfortunately, the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected so, myself and my team have made the difficult decision to move the How To Be Human Tour to April 2026." "Touring is incredibly demanding mentally and physically, and I want to make sure I'm taking care of my wellbeing so I'm in the right headspace to give you the show you deserve. When I step on stage, I really want to fell my best and give you a night that feels worth every moment of waiting." She confirmed that all tickets for the postponed shows would remain valid for the rescheduled April dates, with the exception of Wolverhampton, which couldn't be moved to a new slot. Refunds for those particular tickets will be available to disappointed fans. However, not every performance has been called off, as Cat revealed that the intimate record shop gigs would still go ahead as planned. She wrapped up her message by expressing gratitude to her loyal supporters for their understanding. "Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding through this!" she said. "These decisions are never easy and I don't take your support for granted!". Speaking on The One Show, she described it as an "intense period" in the run-up to the concerts and explained she needed to delay them for her mental wellbeing. Cat has been candid about living with both autism and ADHD, conditions that can make social interactions challenging for her, something she's discussed openly on The Celebrity Traitors.
