    Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts are convinced they’ve already identified this year’s champion as the fresh series kicks off. Saturday night (September 20) saw presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly usher 15 fresh celebrity faces onto the dance floor. La Voix, known off-stage as Chris Dennis, makes history as the first drag performer to take part in the main programme, following Tayce’s triumph in last year’s Christmas edition alongside Kai Widdrington. The 45-year-old has appeared on numerous television programmes throughout the year s, notably making it to the semi-finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, where judge Alesha Dixon hailed her as ‘a force to be reckoned with’, reports Wales Online . La Voix has been matched with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, and Strictly devotees are already tipping them for glitterball glory. Taking to X, one viewer gushed: “I absolutely adore this pairing “a bit like your fringe” #strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.” Another declared: “So we all getting La Voix to Blackpool? She’s going to make this whole season watchable. Mother. #Strictly #SCD2025.” A third enthused: “La Voix is already my winner! This pairing is really going to bring the fun this year and I can’t wait. ‘That’s the one I didn’t want’. “I love La Voix so much #strictly”, gushed another fan, whilst someone else added: “Right my winner is La Voix already omg what a vibe.” Meanwhile, Ellie Goldstein also seems to be emerging as a firm favourite amongst Strictly watchers. The 23-year-old is a pioneering model, actor and influencer who, in 2023, broke new ground as the first model with Down syndrome to feature on the cover of British Vogue. She’s also graced numerous other magazines and starred in major campaigns for big-name brands like Gucci Beauty and Adidas. On Saturday night, Ellie was teamed up with professional dancer Vito Coppola, sparking a flurry of excitement on social media about the duo’s prospects on the show. One fan gushed on Twitter: “I love Ellie already #Strictly”, while another predicted: “Ellie’s going to be brilliant #strictly.” “Ellie and Vito….this was the pairing I was hoping for. #Strictly”, chimed in a third.
