Baltimore Ravens Get Major Lamar Jackson Injury News

The Baltimore Ravens have gotten off to a horrible start to begin the 2025 NFL season. Heading into Week 5 action, they received bad news with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson being sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
Jackson suffered the injury in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. At this point, there is no knowing when he’ll return to the field, although there is hope that he might only miss one game.
Against the Texans, the Ravens did not show up well with Cooper Rush under center. Baltimore dropped to 1-4 on the season with the loss.

With the Ravens facing serious issues when it comes to their battle to make the playoffs, getting Jackson back on the field will be a must. A new update has been shared about his current injury status moving forward.
As shared by Heavy Sports, NFL insider Jay Glazer spoke out about Jackson’s injury status for Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams at home. It’s possible that the superstar signal caller could be back on the field.
“I was told there’s an outside shot for next week, so they don’t want to shut it down yet,” Glazer said. “But the bye is coming after that, obviously. If they decide to (hold) him out next week, then they get three weeks of rest for him, but they’re not saying he’s out yet for next week.”
While the bye week is coming up, Baltimore cannot afford to lose next week as well. Having a 1-5 record would be extremely difficult to come back from. If Jackson can get healthy enough to go next week against Matthew Stafford and the Rams, the Ravens will need to put him on the field.
This week against Houston, Rush completed 14 of his 20 passes for 179 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions. Obviously, the turnover numbers aren’t a recipe for success. However, Rush has performed at a high level in the past with the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore might have confidence that he can turn things around.

Jackson, on the other hand, has thrown for 869 yards, 10 touchdowns, and just one interception this season in four games, while also running for 166 yards and another score.
Hopefully, the Ravens get some good news on Jackson this coming week. Baltimore still thinks there’s a chance he could play next week, but more information will be known as the week moves forward.
