That, in case you’re wondering, is $10 more than the standard Pro model that you can grab for $169.99 shipped. Backbone Pro Xbox Edition is now up for grabs The Backbone Pro Xbox Edition is the brand’s second controller designed with an official Xbox theme. It sports a transparent shell with Xbox’s signature green finish, reminiscent of other Xbox-branded gear like 8Bitdo’s recent releases. There’s also a dedicated Xbox button that provides quick access to features such as Xbox Cloud Gaming and Remote Play. To sweeten the deal – and to justify the additional $10 – it comes with a 1-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription (a $29.99 value). Beyond its distinctive design, this model is identical to the standard Backbone Pro – offering improved ergonomics, a textured matte finish, quieter face buttons, full-sized ALPS analog sticks, and Hall effect triggers for smoother input. You’ll also find two remappable back buttons for customizable control. The controller connects primarily via USB-C for ultra-low latency gameplay, but also supports Bluetooth for wireless use.
