Much like the Backbone One controller that got the Xbox Edition treatment earlier this year, the Pro model is now getting a similar facelift. To sweeten the deal – and to justify the additional $10 – it comes with a 1-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription (a $29.99 value). Beyond its distinctive design, this model is identical to the standard Backbone Pro – offering improved ergonomics, a textured matte finish, quieter face buttons, full-sized ALPS analog sticks, and Hall effect triggers for smoother input. You’ll also find two remappable back buttons for customizable control. The controller connects primarily via USB-C for ultra-low latency gameplay, but also supports Bluetooth for wireless use. If you were eying the Backbone Pro controller to play games on your phone and don’t mind spending $10, the Backbone Pro – Xbox Edition unit is now up for grabs for $179.99 shipped.
