Nigerian international Paul Onuachu has once again been recognised for his scoring prowess, securing another award. The Super Eagles star claimed the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month award for September after scoring a tremendous goal. The Trabzonspor striker has been in sensational form since making his loan move from Southampton permanent in the summer. In just ten appearances for the Black Sea Storm, Onuachu has already tallied an impressive seven goals and one assist. Onuachu wins award Trabzonspor's vice president, Taner Fikret Saral, presented Onuachu with the award before the team's match against Eyupspor on Saturday. This is the second consecutive month the towering forward has claimed the award. His strike against Samsunspor was previously named the best goal for August. The September award was for a moment of acrobatic brilliance against Fatih Karagumruk in the Super Lig. The star forward executed a stunning scissor kick to find the back of the net, a goal that has now been officially celebrated as the league's finest for the month. As he continues his prolific run, Onuachu aims to power Trabzonspor's challenge for the league title this season. With his seven goals, Onuachu currently sits atop the Super Lig's goalscoring charts. He holds a narrow lead over a chasing pack that includes Rafa Silva, Felipe Augusto, and Mauro Icardi, all on five goals.
