UPDATE: The officials from Amazon Web Services have issued s statement suggesting there was no outage related to the service on November 4, 2025 as reported or seen on any third party platform. They have also urged to rely for the AWS status on the AWS health dashboard. However, according to DownDetector, most user reports came from US-East-1 (Northern Virginia) region, which accounts for about 69 per cent of the problems. Around 18 per cent of reports are from US-West-2 (Oregon) and 13 per cent from US-West-1 (California). Users complained about slow loading, failed connections and errors while accessing AWS services. Many developers and companies that rely on AWS for hosting and data services say their applications are running into disruptions. Social media platforms, including Reddit, are also seeing a spike in complaints about the outage. In the last few days, the Amazon Web Service has faced some serious outages hampering the business of a lot of people who depend on the service. In October, AWS faced a major outage that affected some of the most prominent platforms like Reddit, Snapchat, Roblox. In a recent development, more than ten thousand users have reported that Reddit is not working for them. Out of the total complaints, around 60 per cent of them came for the application, 33 percent for the website, and around 8 percent for server connection. The complain related to Reddit's outage in the Indian specific website of Down Detector are also increasing constantly. Until now, around 350 users have reported that they are facing issues while making a log in on the application. According to DownDetector, most users are facing difficulties with the website (49 per cent), followed by the app (44 per cent), and server connections (7 per cent). At the time of updating this article, the global number of reports against the Reddit outage has crossed a whopping number of 20,000 in a few minutes.
