To encourage small enterprises around large industries, the government has amended the rules, allowing up to 50 per cent of a house’s area to be used for enterprise, and in the case of vacant houses, to be fully utilised for business purposes. He said that logistics parks like these were ideal for Kerala as they promote growth without pollution. S.
