Auto group adding Genesis to CT location, replacing current Nissan location

Hoffman Auto Group has announced the addition of Genesis to its lineup of 11 automobile brands, according to the company.
Genesis of Avon will replace the current Hoffman Nissan location in West Simsbury, according to the business, making it the first Genesis dealership in Greater Hartford.
“Genesis, the premium vehicle division of Hyundai Motor Company, is known for refined design, advanced technology, and a premium ownership experience,” said Bradley Hoffman, Chairman of the Hoffman Auto Group. “Adding Genesis to the Hoffman family is a natural step in our strategic growth, allowing us to bring these premium vehicles—and the Genesis experience—to our customers.”
“Genesis of Avon will be the first dealership of its kind in the region, giving local drivers access to a brand that is redefining performance and effortless elegance,” said Jonathan Hoffman, director of fixed operations, Hoffman West. “The Genesis experience treats customers as ‘honored guests,’ and delivers a suite of benefits, including door-to-door concierge valet pickup and drop-off car service. When you pair that with Hoffman service amenities, the result is an unparalleled, exceptional customer experience.”
“Genesis is still a new player in the luxury automobile market, offering significant opportunities for the Farmington Valley community. With the acquisition of Genesis of Meriden and its relocation to our West Simsbury location, we will be uniquely positioned to capture the hearts and minds of central Connecticut,” said Zachary Hoffman, director of sales, Hoffman West, adding that Genesis was established as a standalone brand in 2015.
“I’m very excited to welcome Genesis of Avon to the Genesis family of retailers. Having great retail partners is critical to the success of a great automotive brand, said Mark Marenzana, general manager, Genesis Regional Operations, East & Mid-Atlantic. “The Hoffman Auto Group is known for delivering outstanding sales and service experiences to their customers. I’m confident that they will deliver on the Genesis brand promise of a “son-nim” experience—the Korean term for “honored guest”—to all current and future Genesis owners.

“Hoffman Auto Group has always been about evolving with our customers, employees, and the communities we serve. Bringing the highly desired Genesis experience to Greater Hartford is more than adding a dealership—it’s an investment in the culture and future of this community,” Bradley Hoffman said.
“Our goal is to welcome Genesis into our family, and we’re excited that our team at Genesis of Avon will have access to new training programs focused on the Genesis brand—from product knowledge and technology to the elevated customer experience expected in luxury,” Jonathan Hoffman explained. “This is an investment in our team, which has already set itself apart in the industry, and will give them the chance to gain premium brand experience, learn new skills, and grow professionally.”
According to the business, “current Nissan customers will continue to be supported after the store transitions to Genesis.”
“We will ensure a seamless handoff that reflects The Hoffman Way: putting customers and employees first, innovating with purpose, continuing the tradition of trust, and positioning ourselves for long-term success,” Bradley Hoffman concluded.
Genesis of Avon is located at 46 Albany Turnpike in West Simsbury, according to a company spokesperson.
