The boxing couple welcomed their first child, Ezerra Ray, into the world back in February. Brook, 39, recently claimed that Bridges “saved his life” as he battled his demons to “get out of the darkness”, according to The Sun. Speaking to Boxing King Media, the Australian, also 39, responded to Brook’s comments. The former IBF bantamweight champion said: “I thought publicly it was nice. I don’t do it for credit, I never did it for credit – I did it because I loved him. “I helped him because I loved him and because I’ve seen the person that he could be and that he is underneath. “I saw the person, the man he is underneath. I could see that he was possessed by this devil – addiction and depression. Boxer Ebanie Bridges has opened up about her relationship. “I could see what was underneath and I wanted to bring that out. “To hear that, it was nice for Kell. And it was also because, Kell, he’s a very, very private person. So for him to talk about me in that (way) … it’s very private and deep for him. “So for him to come out about that was really lovely.” Bridges went on to add: “I felt it was nice, like ‘thanks babe’. It’s nice – that’s it really, I was just like ‘yeah it was nice’, you know?
