There’s a chaotic rush to the tracks, as we have about five minutes to find the right train car. Fellow passengers help me haul my suitcase up steep, narrow steps. Those with limited mobility or using a wheelchair would likely find it a challenge. There are four carriages on this train, all of them with “Soft Seat Premium, air-conditioned" seats, in a 2-2 formation. I’m in Coach 4, window seat 13, which is not facing the direction of travel. The best seats for views on this route are by the window, facing in the direction the train is going (there are seven in each carriage). Double-check that’s what you’re getting at the time of booking, as it’s not clearly indicated on the booking sites. Covered in brown vinyl leather, the recliner seats are roomy and comfortable, but don’t offer charger ports for phones and computers. There’s an armrest, tray table, a coat hook on the wall and an air-conditioning vent overhead.
