Aster DM Healthcare on Thursday launched its eighth hospital in Kerala with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art multi-specialty facility, Aster MIMS Kasaragod. The 264-bed hospital built at a cost of ₹190 crore was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the presence of Azad Moopen, founder and chairman of Aster DM Healthcare and Karnataka Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Gundu Rao.

In his inaugural address, the Chief Minister said Aster had grown from a single clinic in Dubai into an integrated healthcare network trusted by people in India and the GCC. The same standards of excellence will now benefit the people of Kasaragod as well, he said. Karnataka Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said Aster’s presence strengthened the healthcare ecosystem in both Kerala and Karnataka.

Dr. Azad Moopen said the Kasaragod hospital marked a momentous milestone in Aster’s journey. “Our mission has always been to deliver quality healthcare that is affordable and accessible. With this new facility, we are bringing world-class care closer to the people of Northern Kerala,” he said. Aster MIM’s
