The Acting Chief Justice, Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, has led a large entourage of the Judicial arm of government to the Manhyia Palace to affirm solidarity with Asanteman over the passing of its Queen, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
Paying homage individually to the Occupant of the Golden Stool on the third day of the burial rites at the Manhyia Palace on September 17, 2025, they extended their condolences.
The entourage included Justices of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court and members of the Judicial Service.
There were also some members of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA).
Other attendees for the third day included Deputy Eswatini Prime Minister Senator Thulisile Dladla, Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, Paramount Chief of Aflao Torgbui Amenya Fiti V and Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene.
The carefully planned burial rites, which started on September 15 with a series of activities, will come to an end on September 18.
Her Majesty will be buried on the last day at Breman Baamu.
Filing past is reserved to take place sequentially among dignitaries and the general public from September 15 to 18, between 5 am and 5 pm, except for the last day, when it will end at 11 am to make way for a burial service at 3 pm.
A key point to note is the institution of the restriction on outdoor movement effective 7 pm on September 18 to make way for the burial of Her Majesty.
