Police officers spotted a vehicle of interest on Ti Rakau Drive at about 2.20pm today, October 31, which was alleged to be linked to a person in relation to a family harm incident. A police spokesperson says the officers signalled the driver to stop, but they failed to do so. “The driver eventually stopped outside a business on Ti Rakau Drive, and the two occupants of the vehicle attempted to flee on foot into the business. “Two people were arrested and charges are pending.” A photo posted on social media this afternoon shows a police officer holding a rifle outside the Botany Downs Woolworths supermarket. One person commented on the post saying the supermarket’s underground car park was blocked by police vehicles during the incident.
