Arjun Kapoor Takes A Dig At His Viral Angry Meme, Stars In Ad That Mocks His 'Lack Of Expressions'

Arjun Kapoor has turned internet humour into business! The actor, who often laughs at himself with self-deprecating jokes, has now featured in a new ice cream commercial built entirely around his viral poker-face meme that recently went viral on social media.
The meme first took off from a 2017 video during his Half Girlfriend promotions, where his stone-faced expressions became the internet’s favourite reaction clip. In the new ad, Arjun repeats the same blank look across everyday scenarios – waiting at a restaurant, receiving a gift, even cutting his finger in the kitchen – until one bite of ice cream changes everything. He suddenly breaks into laughter, dances around, and shows every emotion possible, flipping the meme on its head.
The internet instantly noticed. Gulshan Devaiah joked, “Reverse UNO,” while Varun Dhawan commented, “Superb.” Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar dropped laughing emojis. His sister Anshula added, “Haha, too good!” Social media users teased the actor for monetising his meme, with one writing, “This collab feels like the start of Arjun’s second innings” and another writing, “Tum log memes banaate reh gaye ye Aadmi usse bhi paisa kamma gaya… it’s high time now get a job get a life.” Another user quipped, “Yeh comeback sweet bhi hai aur savage bhi.”

Earlier, Arjun had even turned off his Instagram comments section after being relentlessly spammed with the same viral GIF by netizens. But with this new ad riding on the meme itself, he has now opened the comments again, letting the chatter flow freely.
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in the rom-com Mere Husband Ki Biwi opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. He has wrapped the Delhi schedule of his upcoming Mudassar Aziz directorial.
Arjun’s next appearance will be in No Entry 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster comedy No Entry. Anees Bazmee directed the film, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. There has also been talk that Tamannaah Bhatia will join the cast as the female lead, however no official confirmation has been made. Boney Kapoor, Arjun’s father, is producing the film. Boney Kapoor recently expressed his displeasure at failing to keep the original cast of No Entry in its sequel, and now a fresh source has revealed a stunning reason for Salman Khan’s absence from the picture, as well as what caused Boney to hire a totally new star.
