Tulsa King and The Morning Show have been renewed for seasons 4 and 5, respectively
Both shows have been hugely successful for Apple TV+ and Paramount+
The renewals were announced ahead of their new season premieres

Many of the best streaming services pride themselves on their original programming, which is why I’m not surprised Apple TV+ and Paramount+ have confirmed that two fan-favorite series are coming back for more.

BothTulsa King and The Morning Show will be heading back to their respective streamers with new episodes after being renewed for seasons four and five, respectively. The news was confirmed ahead of The Morning Show season 4 and Tulsa King season 3 premieres.
It’s definitely reassuring to see Apple TV+ and Paramount+ supporting their shows long-term, especially after the likes of Netflix has been criticized for axing shows too early – just look at these nine Netflix shows that were canceled in 2024 for an idea.

So, if you’re a subscriber of one or both of these streaming services, this is a good indication that you should stick around for now.

What do we know about Tulsa King and The Morning Show’s renewals?

For Tulsa King, Deadline exclusively reports that season four will see Terence Winter returning as executive producer and head writer as season 3 showrunner Dave Erickson exits the series.
The publication added that “according to sources, talks are underway with Stallone for a new two-year deal and, if the series’ ratings continue to be strong, it could go to six seasons”.
While this limited-time Paramount+ deal (it’s only available in the US) probably won’t last for another two seasons of the show (going by its release schedule so far), it will cover the entirety of Tulsa King’s upcoming season.

Tulsa King season four kicks off on September 21, with Samuel L. Jackson joining the cast as a new nemesis for Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi.
Meanwhile, The Morning Show is set to return for season 5. The first episode of season four arrives today (Wednesday 17), and fans can rest easy knowing it’s coming back for more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Matt Cherniss, head of programming at Apple TV+ said: “The Morning Show has been a standout from the very start, debuting as one of the flagship series on Apple TV+. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see it not only entertain but also resonate with audiences worldwide.”
We don’t know where The Morning Show season 5 will go just yet, but the fourth season picks up two years after the events of season, so expect a time jump when you watch the new episodes.
The future certainly looks bright for both of these shows, and I’m thrilled to see them being so well supported.
