The All Progressives Congress (APC) Italy Chapter has unanimously reaffirmed its confidence in the leadership of its Chairman, Prince Chima Ibezim, following a well-attended general meeting held on Friday. Members from across regions and provinces in Italy endorsed Prince Ibezim’s chairmanship, lauding what they described as his “excellent leadership qualities and remarkable achievements” in steering the affairs of the chapter. The meeting also saw overwhelming endorsements for other key officers, including Hon. Seyi Shallum (Deputy National Chairman, South), Hon. Lady Sandra Edoga (National Secretary), Hon. Lady Titilope Hassan (Welfare Secretary), Hon. Julios Osasehi (Publicity Secretary), Hon. Richard Edioye (Deputy Publicity Secretary), Chief (Mrs) Doris Okafor (Women Leader), Hon. Mazi Patrick Ohia (Treasurer), and Hon. Efe Osatowhen (Deputy Youth Leader). In a statement made available to the press after the endorsement, Prince Chima Ibezim expressed gratitude to members for their confidence and reiterated his commitment to continue providing visionary leadership for the Chapter. “I am deeply humbled by the confidence reposed in me by our members across Italy. This endorsement is not just about me, but about the collective spirit of APC Italy Chapter. “I enjoin us all not to relent in our pursuit of unity because its the only way we can achieve greater thing , we will continue to strengthen our structures, mobilize support, and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our great party,” the Chairman stated. Throwing their weight behind the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chapter commended the ongoing strides of Tinubu’s administration, particularly the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda. “We are witnessing the improving performance indices of the Renewed Hope Agenda. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is surely taking Nigeria to greater heights, and we must all keep faith in his administration to achieve even more,” Prince Ibezim affirmed. The Chairman also called on Nigerians in the diaspora to remain active contributors to national development through remittances, innovation, and investments. “I enjoin Nigerians, both at home and especially in the diaspora, to keep supporting our country with their invaluable remittances and intellectual property. Let us key into governance, human capacity building, and enterprise that can attract foreign investors and drive national growth,” he said. In addition, the Chapter expressed appreciation to the National Chairman of the APC, His Excellency Dr. Goshwe N. Yilwatda,and members of his NWC,describing him as a “performing and focused leader.” Members of the Chapter Executives also extended condolences to him on the recent passing of his mother ,as we continue to earnestly support and pray for his success. The meeting ended with a rallying call for Nigerians in Italy and across the diaspora to join the APC and support the party’s objectives. “This is a time to unite under the progressive banner. I encourage all Nigerians in Italy and the wider diaspora to identify with the APC and be part of our collective mission to strengthen democracy and deliver prosperity to our people,” Prince Ibezim concluded.
