AOC has announced pricing for its latest high-performance gaming monitor, the AGON Pro AG276QKD2, a 26.5-inch display designed for competitive gamers. First unveiled in May, the monitor is built on a Samsung-made QD-OLED panel with a native 2560 x 1440 resolution and an exceptionally high 500Hz refresh rate, making it one of the fastest monitors currently available.
The AG276QKD2 features a 10-bit panel with excellent color coverage: 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 98% Adobe RGB. It supports DisplayHDR 500 True Black, offering a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a static contrast ratio of 1.5 million to 1. With a pixel density of 110 pixels per inch, the 1440p resolution delivers sharp image quality. AOC also notes that the effective screen utilization exceeds 90%, maximizing the active display area.
The monitor includes an adjustable stand with 130mm height movement, -5° to +23° tilt, ±30° swivel, and full portrait pivot support. It is VESA mount compatible and comes with dual 5W speakers. Aesthetic features include a dual-tone finish in black and gun gray with customizable rear RGB lighting effects.
For input options, the AG276QKD2 provides two HDMI 2.1 ports with DSC, one DisplayPort 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B upstream port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. However, it lacks a USB-C port, a feature increasingly common in modern gaming and productivity monitors.
The monitor supports Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync for smoother visuals, as well as gamer-focused tools such as Dynamic Crosshairs, Game Color, and Shadow Control. Multi-tasking features like Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) are included, along with software customization via AOC’s G-Menu. To protect against long-term panel degradation, QD-OLED Care technology is integrated to reduce the risk of burn-in.
Pricing and Availability
The AGON Pro AG276QKD2 is priced at €949 (about $1,030 USD) in the Eurozone and £679 (about $830 USD) in the UK. Positioned as a premium offering, it targets competitive gamers seeking extreme refresh rates combined with high color accuracy and HDR capabilities.
At present, AOC has not announced availability for the United States market, meaning interested US buyers may need to look at European or UK channels for purchase.
