It’s a major blow to the Chiefs’ continued offensive struggles this season. WR Xavier Worthy is not going to make an appearance in Sunday’s clash vs. the Giants at MetLife Stadium. Worthy has been practicing on a limited basis after his Week 1 shoulder dislocation in Brazil. Many thought he might appear in Sunday’s matchup, but that’s not happening.
In Worthy’s place, the Chiefs have elevated CB Kevin Knowles. As the Chiefs’ official X account shares, “We have activated Practice Squad player CB Kevin Knowles via Standard Elevation. WR Xavier Worthy has not been ruled out for Sunday night’s game (shoulder). He will not travel with the team.”
