WHITESTONE, NY – The Andreas T. Stamboulidis Parthenon AHEPA Chapter 495 began their first business meeting of the AHEPA year by congratulating their longtime Past Chapter President Theodore Stamas on his unanimous election as AHEPA’s Supreme Counselor during the 103rd AHEPA Supreme Convention in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The Supreme Counselor is the Legal Advisor of the Order of AHEPA, its auxiliaries, the Board of Trustees, the Supreme Lodge, the Board of Auditors, and all committees. In addition to being a Past Chapter President, Brother Stamas previously served as Supreme Governor and New York State District Governor. Chapter President Dimitri Skartsiaris presented the Supreme Counselor with a ceremonial gavel and the Chapter enjoyed a specially prepared cake and refreshments.
