On Wednesday, the actress shared a screenshot on her Instagram Stories featuring The Summer I Turned Pretty’s title displayed on a laptop screen. The post made it clear that Ananya is truly excited to witness how the finale turns out.
Ananya Panday skipped a fancy caption and simply wrote, “Chalo (Come on) Belly. Now, please don’t disappoint.” Belly refers to the character played by Lola Tung. Meanwhile, Christopher Briney essays the role of Conrad Fisher and Gavin Casalegno is seen as Jeremiah.
The Summer I Turned Pretty — What To Expect From Final 11th Episode
The final episode will finally shed light on how Belly decides to navigate her complex relationship with Conrad Fisher and Jeremiah at Cousins Beach. Fans also believe that Belly might choose herself over the Fisher brothers and embark on a new journey. As per Jenny Han, the creator of The Summer I Turned Pretty and the author of We’ll Always Have Summer, on which the series is inspired, the 11th episode will not play out the same way as the epilogue in the book.
Jenny Han, in a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, revealed, “There is so much that is going to surprise fans about how much we are showing of Belly in Paris and the whole ending. It is not just an epilogue.”

On the work front, Ananya Panday will next be seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri opposite Kartik Aaryan. The romantic comedy, directed by Sameer Vidwans, will arrive in the theatres on December 31. Ananya and Kartik have previously worked in the 2019 movie Pati Patni Aur Woh.
