Anant Raj plans to scale up data centre business to $1 billion by 2031-32

Real estate developer Anant Raj expects revenue from its data centre and cloud services business to increase to about ₹1,200 crore by 2026-27 from ₹850 crore currently for operational 28 MW and scale up to nearly $1 billion (₹8,870 crore) by 2031-32 as India is expected to lead the data centre demand in the Asia-Pacific region, said its managing director Amit Sarin.Through its subsidiary, Anant Raj Cloud, the company has built scalable campuses at Manesar and Panchkula, currently operationalising 28 MW of IT load. Backed by a $2.1 billion capex plan, Anant Raj aims to expand its capacity to 307 MW by 2031-32 across Manesar, Panchkula and Rai in Haryana. In June 2024, it partnered with Orange Business, a French IT and telecom services provider, to deliver managed cloud services.”We are building one of the largest data centre portfolios in the country. With new capacity at Panchkula and expansion at Manesar, we are on track to scale to 307 MW by FY32, supported by sizeable cloud capacity,” Sarin told ET. “This growth, aligned with progressive policies like tax exemptions, will enable us to play a leading role in supporting India’s digital economy.”Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now!
