Anant Ambani adds a stunning Rolls-Royce Phantom worth Rs 10.5 Crore to his luxury car collection

When it comes to living lavishly, the Ambani family never holds back. Their extravagant purchases — whether it's a villa in Dubai, a private jet, or one of the world's most expensive cars — often become the talk of the town. Their Mumbai residence, Antilia, is one of the most expensive homes globally. From time to time, new headlines emerge about yet another opulent addition to their collection. This time, they have acquired a Rolls-Royce Phantom worth Rs 10.5 crore. Anant Ambani adds a stunning Rolls-Royce Phantom worth Rs 10.5 Crore to his luxury car collection According to The Financial Express citing The Indian Express, Anant Ambani has bought a Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase, said to be priced at around Rs 10.5 crore, before any custom options. The car is finished in a rare bespoke shade called ‘Star of India Orange’. The rare orange colour is a tribute to a legendary car from 1934: the Rolls-Royce Phantom II commissioned by the Maharaja of Rajkot. This classic vehicle was famously called the ‘Star of India’. The Maharaja’s car was a special seven-seater convertible made just for him. It had a beautiful mix of saffron and silver colours, inspired by the famous 563-carat Star Sapphire gemstone. The car was sold many years later, but the royal family of Rajkot eventually bought it back and brought it home to India. The Rolls-Royce Phantom is one of the most luxurious cars in the world, and it’s often called the “ultimate symbol of luxury.” The Phantom has been around since the 1920s, but the modern version combines classic style with advanced technology. It’s powered by a powerful V12 engine and is hand-built with great attention to detail. Inside, it offers the finest leather, wood, and custom features chosen by each owner. Every Phantom is unique. According to Financial Express, the Ambanis own over 170 cars, most of which are ultra luxurious. The family garage includes ultra-prestige cars like Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, and the heavily armoured BMW 760Li Security. Mukesh Ambani is currently India’s richest person. According to the 2025 Hurun India Rich List, the Ambani family has a wealth of Rs 9.55 lakh crore. This wealth comes from their ownership and leadership of Reliance Industries Limited, which operates in oil & gas, telecoms, retail and technology.
