AMC Entertainment has promoted a handful of key executives. Carrie Trotter was named SVP of Marketing. She segues from Vice President of Loyalty, where she oversaw the key AMC Stubs program, reporting to Dan Ellis, Chief Operations, Development & Marketing Officer. Ellis takes marketing under his purview along with U.S. Theatre Operations, Food & Beverage, Development, and Facilities, Sight & Sound. Ryan Noonan, who joined AMC in 2010 and has led the giant theater chain’s communications efforts since 2011, is elevated to SVP, Public Relations. He will continue to oversee all external media strategies and press, reporting to Aron. Edwin (Eddie) Gladbach has been named SVP, President, General Counsel & Secretary, after serving as Interim General Counsel & Secretary, reporting to Aron. Kelly Schemenauer is promoted to VP, Associate General Counsel, reporting to Gladbach. Marketing SVP Ellen Copaken will move to the newly created role of SVP, Business Development to focus on partnerships and new revenue channels “These leadership changes reflect our strong confidence in the deep bench of talent within AMC,” said Aron. “Eddie, Kelly, Carrie, Ryan and Ellen each have demonstrated exceptional dedication, expertise, and strategic vision.
