While we are still tracking AirPods 4 starting from the $89 Prime Day price, Amazon just dropped AirPods Pro 2 down even lower. So low, in fact, they are now sitting just $1 above the best price we have ever tracked on Amazon down at $149.99 shipped.
While AirPods Pro 3 are here, there’s really no telling how long it will take get a proper discount on those. We saw Amazon knock a mere $10 off for a few days in late September, but they are yet to budge from the $249 list price otherwise.
AirPods Pro 2, which are still a wonderful set of in-ear Apple buds, carried the same $249 the new set does, but are now sitting down at just under $150 shipped. There have been more than a few chances to land a set down at $169 this year, but anything lower than that has been hard to come by.
The previous all-time low was the $153.99 we had for Black Friday 2024 before the particularly notable deal at $149 we had for the July Prime Day sale. Today’s offer at $149.99 is the only other time we have seen them down this low on Amazon since release. This is $99 off the list price and within $1 of the best price we have ever seen on Amazon.
AirPods Pro 3 do naturally land with some hardware upgrades in the form of 2x active noise cancellation and the onboard battery sensor. And while we came away thoroughly impressed after reviewing them in detail, they actually have slightly less battery life if you factor in the extra charge the case provides (details on that right here) and are significantly more expensive than the AirPods Pro 2 right now. We wouldn’t blame anyone for just jumping on the new set at full price, they are worth it in our opinion, but a deal is a deal and we are talking about AirPods Pro 2 at $150 – arguably the greatest set of earbuds anywhere for the price, and what was Apple’s greatest in-ear listening experience not more than a month ago.
